Unwanted contact from a hearing service provider

Ask to have your details removed

  • If contact is by email, see if there is an ‘unsubscribe’ link.
  • Ask to have your contact details removed from their marketing system.
  • Say you do not want further contact from them.
  • Put it all in writing to them and keep a copy.

You can also consider contacting:

  • The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
  • Your state/territory health/disability ombudsman/commissioner.
  • Your government funding agency (if any), e.g. DVA, Hearing Services Program or workcover.
